We are halfway through the June portion of the Summer 2017 Comment Challenge hosted by Alicia at A Kernel of Nonsense and Lonna at FLYLēF. Let’s see how we are getting along during the first month of the challenge and how we’re preparing for Month Two.
For the June Challenge, we are partnered with Ashley at Inside My Minds, a wicked awesome blog about music, books, sports, and more from a die hard Boston Red Sox fan! Even though we are partners for June, I didn’t limit my comments to June posts because comments are great no matter when a post is published, right? And I’m so glad that I ventured through older blog posts because so far I’ve learned that Danity Kane released a third album, Bookish Bingo is a thing in the book blogosphere, and Sephora is a magical place (which I kind of already knew)! Plus, one of the most creative and original aspects of Ashley’s blog that I haven’t seen anywhere else is Story Time where Ashley is rewriting a story she wrote in the second grade one week at a time. It’s worth following the blog just to see how the story unfolds!
Comment Today Tomorrow and Forever
With our news, features, and reviews, we publish about 5 posts a month, which obviously meant commenting at least 5 times on our partner’s blog. However, I didn’t want to just drop comments on the first 5 posts I read and then roll out. I wanted my comments to be sincere and organic, so I only left a comment on posts where I had something to say besides “Great Post!”. Although I’ve already completed my comments obligation for this month, I’m going to continue keep the comment love train chugging along! CHOO! CHOO!
On to the Next One
The July Challenge is right around the corner, and of course we’re signing up because spreading comment love throughout the month of June has been so fun! Once again, we are on board for at least 5 post comments and connecting online via Goodreads, Pinterest, and Twitter. If you’re ready to join the commenting party, then sign up and link your announcement post by June 26th.
